The Economy in Vallakova is both Socialist and Capitalist, Major industries involving healthcare, internet, phone, utilities, and others are run via government and distributed among the people equally so that no one in the economy ever "goes without". Although it is important to note that not all industries are run via government and rationed, because it is a staple of good government that there be a motivation for employment as well as a competing market, but on the other hand it is important that all citizens be given equal opportunity for necessities such as housing, welfare, postal usage and the like, it is these "core" industries that are government regulated to ensure safety and security to the average citizen. Housing is distributed but also not ALL real estate is government owned, therefore if someone wants a larger house for example they can buy one on the free market, or remain in a government housing complex on the closed market, in fact many industries are duel in this nature of capital vs. social markets and allow for the free exchange of goods and idea's while at the same time providing physical and financial security for all Vallakovian citizens. In short, the government takes care of its people economically AND the people take care of the governments economy. Balance is key within this economical structure. Basically it is in place so all may have bare necessities, but that supply and demand is still present so as to inspire growth and development. This is an attribute of the benevolence Vallakova bestows on its people, and the utopian principals it struggles to provide while at the same time balancing and juggling a competing industry and economy. As can be seen in this venn diagram.
The following diagram is of the famous and Amazing “Spire” of Vallakova. It allows for the mass production of electricity on its largest scale and at its smallest scale can be used in a simple battery so that it will last forever. It is this amazing technology that makes solar energy and wind power a thing of the past, as well makes fossil fuels virtually obsolete. Using simple turbine technology coupled with aquifer and aqueduct technology (and in some products sound) using gravity as the agent of energy we are able to now devise a construct for the ages allowing a cheap and easy answer to all pollution and energy problems.
